Ivan Simonek's Slide Show

Ivan Simonek was born and raised in the capital of former Czechoslovakia, Prague.  He immigrated to the United States in 1968 and has spent more than 30 years living in Alaska.

Ivan specializes in capturing the beauty and essence of Southeast Alaska and the Ancient Architecture of the Czech Republic.

An accomplished photographer whose works have been published in books and magazines here and in Europe, Ivan established a stock photography business.    In 1996 "Alaskan Images" was created in Wrangell, Alaska.   This small picturesque community, of less than 3000 people, located on an island near the Stikine River Delta offers rich history and unparalleled photo opportunities.   Ivan captures this unique beauty through his camera lens to share with the rest of the world.
